Hair Loss Treatment with Exosomes

Rejuvenating the scalp with the latest hair loss treatments in NZ

Exosomes are increasingly recognised as crucial messengers in cell-to-cell communication. They transport bioactive molecules to target cells, playing essential roles in various biological and disease-related processes. They hold significant potential as innovative approaches for treating various conditions.

Distinguishing between hair loss and hair thinning is crucial. Hair thinning can be temporary or an early indication of hair loss, which implies a permanent cessation of hair growth. Whether you're dealing with hair thinning or hair loss, the pursuit of hair growth treatments often stems from the desire to boost self-assurance and confidence. Treatments utilising human mesenchymal stem cells aim to promote hair growth by restoring the hair growth cycle, making stem cells a promising avenue for hair loss treatment.

At Aesthetics Collective, we recognise the potential of exosome therapy in addressing hair loss and stimulating hair regrowth, offering a promising path to rejuvenated hair. Our exosomes contain a comprehensive array of all-natural Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, Growth Factors, and billions of therapeutic Extracellular Vesicles that support collagen and skin cell regeneration.

How do Exosomes work?

Exosomes awaken dormant hair follicles, transitioning them to the growth phase, and even generating new hair follicles. These exosomes are highly concentrated and administered directly to the desired area for hair growth. By treating hair loss with this innovative treatment, hair restoration can be achieved from derived exosomes, sourced from human cells, which may promote natural hair growth and tissue regeneration, leading to hair regeneration and prolonging hair growth.

Derived from donated human amniotic mesenchymal stem cells, our exosomes are purified using proprietary processes, bringing the unique advantage of stem cell-derived growth factors. Their small size allows them to discreetly navigate the bloodstream, delivering multiple doses of proteins where cells cannot reach. The timing of your treatment plan will vary based on factors like the extent of hair loss, age, hormonal balance, and genetics.

How many treatments will I need?

Typically, your journey begins with 4 treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by a 4 to 6-month follow-up appointment and subsequent yearly maintenance sessions. Over the year, ongoing hair growth will manifest, with noticeable changes emerging around six months post-treatment, leading to fuller and more robust hair.

Before Your Treatment:

  • Avoid anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin, naproxen, or ibuprofen for at least three days before exosome treatment.

  • Do not wash your hair for at least 12 hours, and refrain from using hair care products on the day of your appointment.

  • Ensure you are well-hydrated the day before your treatment to optimize exosome absorption.

  • Have a meal, including food and drink, prior to your procedure to minimize lightheadedness risks.

What to Expect During the Treatment:

  • You'll experience some transient discomfort during and after the procedure.

  • Some tenderness to the touch is common immediately after exosome treatment.

  • Natural hair regrowth can be expected in as little as two to three months, continuing over the year.

Post-Treatment Instructions:

  • Protect your scalp from sunlight for at least 24 hours with a loose hat or hood.

  • Maintain hydration and a balanced diet on the day of your treatment.

  • Refrain from strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours post-procedure to minimize swelling.

  • You can shower and resume your regular hair care routine the morning after the procedure, returning to work the same or next day.

  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen for three weeks post-treatment.

  • Steer clear of alcohol, tobacco, and salt or sugar-rich foods within 24 hours after treatment.

  • Delay hair washing for at least one or two days.

  • Avoid hot water, vigorous scalp massages, or rough hair treatments to prevent hair dislodgment.

  • For optimal recovery, space therapy sessions 3 to 6 months apart.
